Regular worship services will be held on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. with Holy Communion served on the 1st, 3rd, 5th Sundays.
Sunday School and Youth Bible classes meet each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. before the worship service in the Education wing.
Confirmation Classes are over until mid-Fall. If you have a child (or know one) that is age appropriate for Confirmation, please contact the church to have him/her enrolled in classes.
Vaction Bible School 2008 (VBS) will be held at St. Luke the week of July 28 through July 31, from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. each morning. VBS is for ages 4 thru 13. This year's theme is "Friendship Trek" where children will be taken on a hike through God's Word to learn more about Jesus - their Forever Friend. Volunteers are needed to assist and teach. Contact Jilma Seals or call the church office to enroll or sign up to volunteer.
Adult Bible Study meet at 8:45 a.m. each Sunday before the worship service in the Fellowship Hall. They are currently studying The Augsburg Confession, (one of the foundational documents of the Evangelical Lutheran Church). Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Living Way Bible Study will go on a hiatus for the summer months and will return to the study of God's Word in September.
Our LWML is on hiatus for the summer and will return to their monthly planning/social meetings in September. Sunday morning Fellowships (after church) will continue to be held during the summer months under the auspices of LWML, and your assistance is needed throughout the year to supply refreshments for this function. Signs ups are on the Fellowship Chart posted on the portable bulletin board outside the church each Sunday.
Those interested in becoming members of St. Luke need to attend a class in Lutheranism. Classes are led by Pastor Tim and will go into the distinctiveness of Lutheranism. All are welcome to attend these classes which are held after worship on Sundays. The current class will continue through September (skipping August). If desiring to become a member of St. Luke, then this class may lead to that attainment. Contact the church office or speak with Pastor Tim for futher details on this class.
The American Red Cross holds Blood Drives at St. Luke - currently on Mondays in the Fellowship Hall from 1 to 7 pm. The July scheuled will be: on July 7th (Monday) and July 16th (Wednesday). The Blood Drives were moved to Mondays, effective July 1st, however, their schedule will not become regular until August. Check church calendar in July for accurate postings. Appointments are set up through the local Claremont Red Cross Chapter at (909) 624-0074 - please do not call the church.

Youth Calendar:
Confirmation classes are currently on hiatus through the summer and will resume again in September. Confirmation classes are held each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., for age appropriate children; and will run consecutively on Wednesday evenings for the 2008-2009 school year. Classes end each year in early May, with qualifying second year students going through the Rite of Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday each year.
V.B.S. 2008 is planned to take place July 28 thru 31, from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m., for ages 3-13.
Teen events:
We welcome to our staff our new D.C.E. Intern - Heather Rohnert. She joined the staff at St. Luke on June 1st. Scheduling of youth events will take place later in June and will be posted as they are planned. Her current office hours are: Tuesdays from 10 am to 1 pm and 3 to 5 pm; Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm, and 1 to 3 pm; and on Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm and 3 to 5 pm.
